Utica, NY--Russell Sage College women's outdoor track and field squad opened competition on Friday at the 2023 Empire 8 Outdoor Track and Field Championship at Utica University. The action wraps on Saturday.
Sophomore Elizabeth Ingellis (Kingston, NY/Kingston) had a AARTFCC qualifying time of 39:22.01 as she took home fourth place in the 10,000 meter run.
Newcomer Tirzah Spivey (Clifton Park, NY/Schenectady) was 10th in the 100 meter hurdles with a time of 18.36. Rookie Ashley Rabbitt (Glenville, NY/Burnt Hills Ballston Lake) had a throw of 26.04 meters and was 17th, while junior Jasmine Zollman (Delmar,NY/Bethlehem Central) was 18th in the long jump with her leap of 4.29 meters.
