UTICA, N.Y. –  Russell Sage College continued its indoor season on Saturday at the Utica Blue and Orange Invitational.

The Gators registered three school records on the day.

Senior John Coddington (Amsterdam, NY/Broadalbin-Perth) increased his program record in the weight throw, finishing second out of 34 competitors with a 16.50m toss.

Sophomore Elizabeth Ingellis (Kingston, NY/Kingston) set the RSC standard in the 3,000m, clocking in at 11:09.49. The time, more than eight seconds better than the previous school best, was good for fourth place.

Freshman Alexius Smith (Cohoes, NY/Cohoes) established the program record in the high jump with a mark of 1.37m.  The effort was part of a pair of top-ten finishes for the rookie.

Looking ahead, the Gators return to Utica next Saturday for the Pioneer Invitational.
