Troy, NY – Russell Sage College's women's outdoor track and field team competed on Saturday at the Capital District Championship hosted at RPI. The Gators had a number of quality performances.
For the Gator women, sophomore co-captain Mackenzie Feeney (Saugerties, NY/Saugerties) was sixth 1,500 meter run in 5:14.83. She also added a 13th place finish in the 800 meter run in 2:31.48.
Rookie Alyssa McClurg (Cropseyville, NY/Tamarac) posted a time of 13.76 in the 100 meter dash and was 12th and also finished in 11th in the long jump with her leap of 4.70. Sophomore Jasmine Zollman (Delmar, NY/Bethlehem Central) was 14th in the long jump with her effort of 4.35 meters.
Looking ahead, RSC competes on May 6-7 at the 2022 Empire 8 Championship, which will take place at Nazareth College.
