Sage women compete at Williams Invitational

Williamstown, MA –  Russell Sage College's men's and women's outdoor track and field teams traveled to Williams College on Friday for competition at the Williams College Invitational.

 

For the Gator women, sophomore Hethar Scutt (Ancramdale, NY/Taconic Hills) turned in a time of 1:36.14 and finished in third in the 400 meter run. She also had a time of 3:58.96 and was seventh in the 800 meter run.

In the 100 meter dash, rookie Alyssa McClurg (Cropseyville, NY/Tamarac) posted a time of 14.29 and finished in ninth place. Sophomore co-captain Mackenzie Feeney (Saugerties, NY/Saugerties) added a time of 5:22.60 and was fifth in the 1,500 meter run.

In the long jump, McClurg picked up ninth with a leap of 4.61 meters, while sophomore Jasmine Zollman (Delmar, NY/Bethlehem Central) picked up 10th with her mark of 4.15 meters.

Looking ahead, RSC competes on April 23 at the UAlbany.
