Middletown, CT –  Russell Sage College's women's outdoor track and field team opened the new season on Saturday competing at Wesleyan University Elmer J. Swanson Invitational. A non-team scored meet, the event was not completed before weather halted action late in the day.

Sophomore co-captain Mackenzie Feeney (Saugerties, NY/Saugerties) was 10^th in the women's 1,500 meter run with a time of 5:19.81. Sophomore Hethar Scutt (Ancramdale, NY/Taconic Hills) turned in a time of 1:40.30 while running in the 400 meter run. In the long jump, rookie Alyssa McClurg (Cropseyville, NY/Tamarac) was 10^th with her leap pf 4.69 meters and sophomore Jasmine Zollman (Delmar, NY/Bethlehem Central) was 19^th with her performance of 4.32 meters.

Looking ahead, RSC competes next Saturday, April 2 competing at the Hamilton College Invitational.
