A rookie with the 2019 Gator cross country team, Molly Kane had a strong start to her Gator career.
She opened her cross country career having finished in 16th place at the Vassar Short Course race with a time of 13:03.0 for the 3 K distance.
She added a 14th place finish at the 6k Stephen Warde Invitational in 27:11.6.
Kane also picked up a 20th place finish at Oneonta State’s Airfield Invitational with a time of 21:49.0 on a 5 K course.
Academics at Sage:
She is majoring in nursing at Sage.
High School:
A graduate of Columbia High School, Kane ran as a member of the cross country team as well as the indoor and outdoor track and field teams.
Voted the Most Improved Runner in 2015 in cross country, she earned the Barrett Scholarship in 2018 as well as the Senior Athletic Award for her efforts. A team captain for all three teams, she also excelled in the classroom.
A member of the National Honor Society as a junior and senior, she was also selected to the National Technical Honor Society for nursing as a senior and passed the NYS Certified nursing assistant exam in the spring of 2019.
