At Sage:

A newcomer to Sage in 2016-2017, Joanna Tavolaro competed this past fall as a member of the Sage cross country team. Back this spring as a member of the Gator track and field teams, she is planning on competing in the pole vault.

Academics at Sage:

She is majoring in applied biology and pre-med at Sage. She was named to the 2016 Skyline Conference Scholar-Athlete Team and earned a spot on the Dean’s List at Sage.

High School:

She was a three-sport athlete in cross country, indoor and outdoor track and served as team captain for all three teams. She was a Foothills Council All-Star as well as a 2nd Team all-conference cross country all-star and was a two-time indoor champion in Section 2 Class C pole vault, while also winning a pair of outdoor titles. Twice she was the indoor and outdoor leading scorer, while also penning her name to the school record in the indoor and outdoor pole vault.
