Staten Island, NY –The Sage College's men's and women's outdoor track and field teams were in action at the Wagner College Invitational, a non-team scored meet.

For Sage's women's team, sophomore Krystal Lambert (Brooklyn, NY/John Dewey) took 11th place in the 100 meter dash in 13.87. Also in the same race, sophomore Kelly DiBiaso (Bristol, CT/Saint Paul Catholic) took 21st in 15.73, while sophomore Sharmise Pratt (New York, NY/Urban Assembly for Careers in Sports) took 23rd in 16.27. Pratt also took 28th in the 200 meter dash in 35.82.

In the 1,500 meter run, junior Ellyn Fisher (Queensbury, NY/Queensbury) picked up 18th place in 6:12.62.

In the 5,000 meter run, senior Alaina Krueger (Selkirk, NY/Ravena-Coeymans-Selkirk) took 14th in 22:07.38, while freshman Samantha Phelps (Amsterdam, NY/Fonda Fultonville) took 15th in 22:26.54.

In the 400 meter hurdles, sophomore Sarah Montgomery (Gloversville, NY/Mayfield) picked up 9th in 1:32.35.

In the 4 x 100 meter relay, the Gators took home eighth place in 1:02.77 behind the efforts of freshman Samantha Mears (Bennington, VT/Mount Anthony Union), freshman Alyssa Tatro (Constable, NY/Franklin Academy), junior Leanna Egan (Schenectady, NY/Mohonasen), and Lambert. In the 4 x 400 relay, Sage picked up seventh in 5:15.61 as sophomore Allison Hill (Hyde Park, NY/Franklin D. Roosevelt), Egan, and Toni McCombie competed.

In the shot put, Hill picked up 22nd place with her mark of 4.88 meters, while Egan took 23rd with a toss of 4.63 meters.
