Utica, NY – Russell Sage College's women's tennis team faced Nazareth College in an Empire 8 match held at Utica University. The Golden Flyers tallied the 9-0 win to move 5-1 on the year and 4-1 in the league. RSC drops to 3-6 overall and 1-4 in the Empire 8.

RSC's rookie Tirzah Spivey (Clifton Park, NY/Schenectady) fell at No. 1 singles to Nazareth's junior Aliya Guzman (Penfield, NY/Penfield) 1-6, 6-2, 10-5.

The Gators are back in action on October 8 hosting Utica University at 11 a.m. at Albany Academy and will honor their seniors in conjunction with Senior Day. They will be honoring graduate student Claire Connolly (Little Falls, NY/Little Falls), seniors Priscilla Daquin (Binghamton, NY/Windsor Central) and Jillian Goralewski (Kingston, NY/Kingston).
