Taylor Gillespie

At Sage:

• A sophomore at Sage in the fall of 2019, Taylor Gillespie was a newcomer on the women’s tennis team.
• She was part of Sage’s 2019 lineup that tied the program’s single-season wins mark having collected 10 wins. Sage’s team also earned their first Empire 8 playoff appearance in 2019.
• She capped her year with a selection to the 2019 Empire 8 All-Conference Second Team in Doubles.
• Gillespie added a 7-4 record in singles including a 5-4 record at fourth singles. In doubles, she teamed at No. 1 with Rebecca Jackson to post a record of 11-1 including a 5-1 mark in E8 play.

Academics at Sage:

• She is a psychology major at Sage.
• A member of the Deans’ List at Sage, she is in the Honors Program as well.

High School:

• She is a graduate of Cobleskill-Richmondville High School, she excelled on the tennis courts scholastically. A team captain of the tennis team, she is a National Honor Society Student.

She is the daughter of James Gillespie and Christy Gillespie-Quinn.
