Annandale-on-Hudson, NY—The Bard College women's tennis team remained undefeated (4-0) with an 8-1 home win over The Sage Colleges Thursday at the Stevenson Athletic Center. The Gators are now 4-4.

Sage was a victor in third doubles as sophomores Molly Cochrane (Ravena, NY/Ravena-Coeymans) and Allison Trudo (West Chazy, NY/Beekmantown) defeated Eva Grunblatt and Eva Miller, 6-1, 6-0.

In the second doubles, sophomores Julia Geisel (Clifton Park, NY/Shenendehowa) and Rebecca Jackson (Saugerties, NY/John A. Coleman) lost 8-4. It was the first time in eight matches this season that the duo was defeated in doubles play.

Sage will play an Empire 8 match at Nazareth Saturday at 1 p.m. Bard is at Liberty League rival Vassar Friday at 4:30 p.m.
