A newcomer to Sage in 2016, Sammantha “Sam” Montague joined the Gators’ team and earned the honor of playing at first singles.
She added an impressive 8-4 record in singles action and teamed in doubles with Abbey Clobridge for a 4-9 record.
A two-sport performer, she also excelled with Sage’s softball team and helped the Gators finish the 2017 as the Skyline Conference Tournament Runners-up.
She played in 22 games with a .231 batting average as a newcomer.

She is majoring in biochemistry at Sage.
High School:
A stellar performer at Scotia-Glenville High School, Sam earned letters in tennis, basketball, and softball.
A team captain in tennis and softball, she earned Foothills Council all-star honors three times in tennis (213, 2014, & 2015).
In softball was a First-Team All-Foothills Council all-star in 2015 and 2016 and a second team pick in 2014.
Led tennis team to Foothills Council Championship titles in 2012, 2013 and 2015.
Finished in Top 10 percent of class academically.
