New York, NY--Days after knocking off five time Skyline Conference Women's Tennis Champions, Mt. St. Mary College, individual acclaim was also bestowed on junior women's tennis player, Shanessa Mendoza (North Plainfield, NJ/North Plainfield) as she was named to the Skyline Conference Honor Roll.

Mendoza posted a key win at No. 3 singles for the Gators in the team's 6-3 road win over the Knights and added a win at No. 2 doubles. She boasts 7-3 record in singles play this fall, while also owning a 4-5 record in doubles action.

Mendoza and the Gators will be in action again on October 15 at Utica College and October 16 at Purchase College as they are now 5-5 overall and 3-3 in the Skyline Conference.
