Troy, NY--- The Sage Colleges' women's tennis team hosted the Rams of Farmingdale State on Saturday in conjunction with the team's final home match of the year and the Gators' Senior Day. FSC posted the 7-2 win to improve to 7-4 overall and 3-1 in the league. Sage drops to 3-4 overall and 2-2 in the conference.

Sage posted wins at No. 3 doubles and at No. 6 singles. Sage's junior Shanice Mendoza (North Plainfield, NJ/North Plainfield) teamed at No. 3 doubles with sophomore Emily Schultz (Wyantskill, NY/Averill Park) for the 8-4 win. Mendoza also added a win at No. 6 singles after besting Olivia Stauffer, in three sets, 6-2, 3-6, 10-7. Shanice Mendoza leads the Gators in singles with her 6-1 overall record, including a perfect 3-0 in Skyline Conference matches.

Sage is back in action facing Yeshiva University on Sunday at 1 p.m. in Skyline Conference play as the match will be held at Queens College.
