North Adams, NY – Sage's women's tennis team travelled to Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts for a non-conference match with the Trailblazers of Saturday. MCLA picked up the 7-2 win improving to 2-0, while Sage drops to 0-2.

The contest saw senior co-captain Katie Schultz (Wynantskill, NY/Averill Park) post a 6-1, 6-3 win at No. 1 singles as she beat Taylor Turner. Junior Alex Faas (Rensselaer, NY/Columbia) added a win in three sets at No. 4 singles, beating Anna Despart, 6-0, 4-6, 6-0.

The Gators are back in action on September 9 hosting Utica College in a 4 p.m. non-conference match to be held at Prospect Park.
