A graduate of Averill Park High School, Katie Schultz is no stranger to Sage as her mother Kristian Schultz works at The College. A Kellas Scholar at Sage, she was named to the Skyline Conference Scholar-Athlete Team in 2013 as well as Sage’s Scholar-Athlete Team in both the Fall of 2013 and the Spring of 2014. She was also honored with a selection to the 2013-2014 ITA Scholar-Athlete Team.

In her first season on the courts, she compiled a 6-8 record in singles, playing mostly at the No. 4 position. She added a 2-4 mark as well in doubles and will be looked to this season for a larger role in the lineup for the Gators.

She is a former varsity tennis player at Averill Park. She is majoring is an occupational therapy at Sage and is the daughter of Ken and Kristian Schultz. She was alo named to the Athenian Honor Society last year.
