 A tennis team captain at Rome Free Academy, Lauren Bendall is a two-sport student-athlete at Sage as she also plays lacrosse. A year ago as a member of the tennis team, she went 3-11 in singles play, while posting a 2-3 record in limited doubles play.

She excelled in tennis and track at Rome Free Academy and served as the tennis team's captain for both her junior and senior seasons, while also captaining the indoor and outdoor track teams as a senior. A scholar-athlete in high school, she helped both the tennis and track teams to sectional appearances.

An honor society student, she captured a first place finish in the Rome Free Academy Science Fair three times, while also serving as the vice president of the student council. She earned a Rome Medical Hospital Nursing Scholarship as well as a NROTC Scholarship.

At Sage she is just as involved on campus as she is the vice president of the class of '15 and is also active as a member of the Sagettes, a capella singing group.  A former boy scout, Lauren has worked as a librarian's assistant at the Sage Library. A member of Sage’s Scholar-Athlete Team, she was also named to the 2012 Skyline Conference Scholar-Athlete Team for her efforts with women’s tennis and is majoring in nursing at Sage and is the daughter of Eric and Maria Bendall.
