ALBANY, N.Y. – Russell Sage College junior forward Kennedy Jones (Albany, NY/Albany) was selected the Empire 8 Conference Women's Soccer Offensive Player of the Week for the period ending Sunday, October 30.

Jones netted both game-winning goals in the 2-0 week. The junior forward, who has scored the game-winner in three-consecutive contests, recorded a goal and an assist in the final 2:04 to turn a 2-1 deficit into a 3-2 win at Houghton on Saturday.

The road victory earned the Gators (7-9-1/6-3-0 E8) the three seed in the E8 Championship Tournament. RSC will host Alfred, seeded sixth, on Tuesday, November 1 at 3:00 PM at the ACP Athletic Complex.

Notes: RSC will be making its third appearance in the E8 Championship Tournament…The Gators won the 2020-21 tournament title…Forward Natalie Ricci (Cohoes, NY/Cohoes), a graduate student, ranks in the top-ten in school history for career points and career goals…12 players, including Ricci, a three-time first-team All-Conference pick, returned this fall.
