KEUKA PARK, N.Y. – Russell Sage College picked up a 2-0 Empire 8 Conference victory this afternoon at Keuka.
The Gators, now 3-0 in E8 play, outshot the hosts 14-5 and held a 5-2 advantage on corner kicks across the matinee.
Junior defender Allison Basila (Queensbury, NY/Queensbury) and forward Natalie Ricci (Cohoes, NY/Cohoes), a graduate student, scored the goals, while goalkeeper Mickaela Buzzy (Oneonta, NY/Oneonta), a graduate student, (Win, 3-0-0) stopped all three shots that the Wolves (2-4-4/0-1-2 E8) put on net.
The Gators (4-5-1/3-0 E8) are in the midst of a stretch of three-straight road contests. RSC wraps up the string on Wednesday afternoon at Vassar. The final non-conference action of the regular season is set to begin at 3:30 pm.
