Klosterman

ALBANY, NY – Hallie Klosterman (Modena, NY/Wallkill), a forward on the Russell Sage College women's soccer team, was named to the NCAA Division III Academic All-District® Team on Thursday for her accomplishments on the soccer pitch and in the classroom.

The accolade is the latest in a longlist of accomplishments for Klosterman, who also made the 2020-21 CoSIDA Academic All-District® Team. She was also selected for the 2020-2021 United Soccer Coaches Player of Distinction NCAA Division III Team, as well as the 2020-2021 USC NCAA Division III Women Scholar All-East Region Team. The RSC Athletic Honors Society member, who has recorded a perfect 4.0 GPA, has made the Empire 8 President's List and Dean's List every year.

Klosterman led the Gators to the 2020-21 Empire 8 Women's Soccer Tournament Championship. She scored both goals in the title game vs. Utica, including the overtime winner on a penalty kick, and was named the tournament's Most Outstanding Player. The co-captain currently is 16th in program records for career points (43), and career goals (16).

Off the pitch, Klosterman, the 2021 Grand Collegiate Women of the Year by Capital District Sports Women of the Year, is a member of the Student Athlete Advisory Committee at Russell Sage. The group's community service initiatives include: volunteering at a food pantry, running a pop tab fundraiser for donations, and collecting bottles and cans to raise funds for local charities.

She now advances to the CoSIDA Academic All-America® ballot. First-, second- and third-team Academic All-America® honorees will be announced in early December.
