Elmira, NY — Russell Sage College women's soccer team traveled to Elmira College for an Empire 8 match-up on Saturday afternoon. Despite dominating the Soaring Eagles in shots, 32-3, the Gators settled for a 0-0 overtime tie in Empire 8 play. RSC is now 2-2-2 overall and 0-0-2 in the Empire 8, while Elmira is now 2-3-1 overall and also 0-0-1 in the league.

Senior Mickaela Buzzy (Oneonta, NY/Oneonta) needed to make just two saves in three shots made by Elmira as she helped the Gators to a second shutout of the year. Buzzy is now 0-2-2 in goal with 32 saves this fall. Overall on her career Buzzy has 109 career saves in 19 games played in goal in 1387 minutes of play.

RSC is back in action on September 21 hosting Western Connecticut State University in a 7 p.m. non-conference contest to be played at ACP Stadium.
