Hilton, NY--58 Russell Sage College student-athletes were honored with the release of the Spring of 2022 Empire 8 Presidents' List. Additionally, eight Gator varsity programs were named to the Empire 8 All-Academic list for their combined efforts in the classroom.

In addition to several honors bestowed for athletic and academic excellence, Sage also selected the Gator of the Year Award for the department’s 21 varsity sports for the 2021-2022 year. The Dean Sharon Robinson Senior Scholar-Athlete Award recognizes our exceptional senior male and female scholar-athletes for their accomplishments in the classroom and their distinguished efforts as a Sage Scholar-Athlete. This award is given in recognition of Dean Robinson’s service and passion for excellence in higher education and love of intercollegiate athletics.
RSC’s women’s soccer goalie Mickaela Buzzy was honored as the 2021-2022 Aggie Stillman Perseverance Award recipient. She was also named to the Sage Athletic Honor Society for the second straight year.

Chicopee, MA — Russell Sage College women’s soccer squad traveled to Massachusetts to take on Elms College in a non-conference match. The Gators held a 2-0 lead at the break and posted a 3-0 win to move to 5-6-2 overall, while Elms drops to 7-6-1.
Alfred, NY — Russell Sage College women’s soccer team traveled to Alfred University for an Empire 8 contest. The host Saxons rallied from a 2-0 deficit to post a 5-2 win on Saturday.
Elmira, NY — Russell Sage College women’s soccer team traveled to Elmira College for an Empire 8 match-up on Saturday afternoon. Despite dominating the Soaring Eagles in shots, 32-3, the Gators settled for a 0-0 overtime tie in Empire 8 play.
Saratoga Springs, NY — Russell Sage College women’s soccer team traveled to Skidmore College for a non-conference contest with the Thoroughbreds. Skidmore tallied a 3-0 win on Wednesday afternoon.
North Adams, MA — Russell Sage College women’s soccer team traveled to Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts for a non-conference match with the Trailblazers. RSC’s sophomore forward Marissa Key broke a 0-0 tie with the lone goal of the night at the 49:14 mark. With the win, RSC is now 2-1-1 on the year. MCLA falls to 0-3.
