NEW YORK – Sage's Samantha Trimblett (Monroe, NY/Monroe-Woodbury) was named the week five Co-Skyline Player of the Week Monday afternoon.

Trimblett led the Gators to a 2-0 week with wins over Mount Saint Mary and St. Joseph's – Brooklyn. The sophomore scored the first hat trick of her career against Mount Saint Mary. In addition, the forward scored the first goal in Sage's 7-0 win over St. Joseph's – Brooklyn.

Trimblett currently tops the Skyline in shots (46) and shots/game (5.75) while she ranks second in game-winning-goals (two) and game-winning-goals/game (.250). The sophomore's .750 goals/game and 1.88 points/game is also third in the Skyline.

In addition to Trimblett's Skyline rankings, the forward leads the Gators in goals (six), shots and shots-on-goal (22). Other statistical leads for Sage include Taylor Lynch (Woodstock, NY/Saugerties) (six goals, five assists, .250 shot percentage, .750 shot-on-goal percentage, three game-winning goals), Cassidy Bruen (Baldwinsville, NY/Balwinsville) (five assists) and Giovanna Fichera (Cornwall, NY/Cornwall Central) (.250 shot percentage).

Joining Trimblett as the week 5 Player of Week was Farmingdale State's Destiny Pomarico. The midfielder had three goals and four assists in the Rams'3-0 week. Picking up the Skyline Rookie of the Week was Christina Gagliardi of St. Joseph's – Long Island. Gagliardi scored a game-winning goal at Old Westbury along with a game-tying goal against Purchase.

Sage (6-4, 2-1 Skyline) currently sits in sixth place in the Skyline with six points. Topping the table is Farmingdale (5-6-3, 5-0 Skyline) with 15 points followed by Mount Saint Vincent (6-4, 4-1 Skyline) with 12 points. Sitting in third are Purchase (3-5-1, 3-1-1 Skyline) and St. Joseph's – Long Island (3-6-1, 3-1-1 Skyline) with 10 points, and just ahead of Sage in fifth place is Mount Saint Mary (4-7, 3-2 Skyline) with nine points.
