Albany, NY –The Sage Colleges' women's soccer team will hold a soccer training program for children, ages 8-12. The dates are January 24, February 21 and March 6 with a cost of $100 for all three sessions. The two dates cost is $75, while one session is $50.
The 2016 Growing Gators Clinic on January 24 will take place at the Neff Athletic Center in Troy and February 21 and March Clinics 6 will take place at The Armory at Sage in Albany.
Clinic Objectives:
The Sage soccer training sessions are designed to provide participating players with optimal technical development and individualized attention.
The program emphasizes specific skills----dribbling, passing, shooting and 1 v. 1 moves. Through the use of small-sided games, the coaching staff will be able to focus on these skills and ensure that each player is honing them.

Clinic Staff:
The Sage coaching staff will be leading drills and instruction to provide the players with top quality soccer education.
Current student-athletes will be assigned to players so that they receive feedback and direction in real time, providing them with ample opportunities to implement the instruction they receive.
Participants will be divided into small groups, which will be led by 2-3 counselors. The player to coach ratio is small in this scenario, giving participants as much individualized coaching as possible.
Equipment:
Each player is responsible to bring his or her own soccer ball, shin guards, and water.

Right on Congress Street for three blocks.
Left at the light on to 3rd Street.
Left at blinking yellow on to Canal Avenue.
Straight through one stop sign.
Right at stop sign on to 5th Avenue.
Neff Center will be on your left.
From the South:
New York State Thruway to Exit 23
Straight on to Rt.787 North.

Directions from Route 787:
Route 787 North to exit 7E (South Troy) on to NY 378 East.
Stay in left lane, NY 378 becomes Burden Avenue. Straight on Burden past Speedway Gas Station (see Burden Water wheel mural on right).
Bear right at intersection for 4th Street (By the Stewart's Shop).
Turn right on to Madison Street and take to the end.
Left on to 5th Avenue.
Neff Athletic Center will be on your right.

FROM THE EAST
Take 1-90 to 1-787 south to the end. Go straight on Hoffman Avenue. Take a left on Second Avenue. Cross Delaware Avenue to Whitehall Road and stay left at the "V." Take a right on Marwill Street, and then cross Hackett Boulevard and go straight up Academy Road. Take a right on New Scotland Avenue. The Armory will be on your right.
FROM THE NORTH
Take 1-87 (Northway) south to Western Avenue (Route 20 East) and take a left on Western. Make a right on South Manning Boulevard, and then a left on New Scotland Avenue. The Armory will be on your right.
FROM THE WEST
Take Western Avenue (Route 20 East). Make a right on South Manning Boulevard, and then a left on New Scotland Avenue. The Armory will be on your right.
FROM THE SOUTH
Take the New York State Thruway to either Exit 23 or 24.
From Exit 23: Take a left on Route 9W and follow around to second light. Take a right on Hoffman Avenue, and then a left on Second Avenue.
