As a rookie, Julia Retell was joined during her rookie campaign, by her twin sister, Jenna. In 2014, Retell started 11 of 13 matches played and had a strong start to her collegiate career as she helped control the Gator midfield and defensive units. She added one assist as well and to aid in the record-setting campaign by Sage.
A member of the 2013 state semifinalist squad at Burnt Hills Ballston Lake High School, she earned numerous awards over her career. Honored many times by the Colonial Council, she excelled as a midfielder.
A National Honor Society Student, she graduated with advanced honors and is majoring in nursing at Sage. She is the daughter of Kenneth and Elizabeth Retell.
