Albany, NY – The Sage Colleges' women's soccer team hosted the Fighting Blue Jays of NYU-Poly in a Skyline Conference match held at Albany College of Pharmacy. The Gators cruised to a 7-0 win to improve to 3-9 overall and 2-5 in the league, while NYU-Poly drops to 2-11 and 0-7 in the conference.

Putting Sage on the scoreboard first with her first collegiate goal was freshman forward Shelby Sarraino (Watervliet, NY/Shaker) on a feed from sophomore Nicole Maher (Glen Cove, NY/Saint Dominic) at 5:41. The Gators tacked on another first half as sophomore midfielder Kelsey Woron (Baltimore, MD/Chesapeake) found the net on a pass from junior Melissa Spring (Penfield, NY/Penfield) at 36:48.

By game's end, Sarraino had a pair of goals, while senior defender Danielle Kitsock (Claverack, NY/Hudson) had her first goals of the season as the Gators racked up a season-high seven goals on the afternoon. Senior forward Emily Stevenson (Ithaca, NY/Newfield) tallied a goal to elevate her team-leading tally to five goals and 10 points, a personal best for the Gator.

Sage's junior goalkeeper Teagan Waddingham (Coeymans Hollow, NY/Ravena-Coeymans-Selkirk) connected for one save in the action and connected for her second shutout of the year, while NYU-Poly's junior goalie Molly Batrz (Eden, NY/Eden) made nine saves.
