Skidmore Tops Sage in Women's Soccer Action

Saratoga Springs, NY – Skidmore College hosted the Gators of Sage College on Tuesday night in a non-conference women's soccer match. The Thoroughbreds improve to 1-3 overall, while Sage falls to 0-4.

Skimdore led 4-0 at the half as Caty Sheridan had two goals and an assist in the first half of play. Kelsey Yam also finished the night with two goals and an assist for the Thoroughbreds.

Sophomore keeper Teagan Waddingham (Coeymans Hollow, NY/Ravena-Coeymans-Selkirk) made nine saves for Sage. Skidmore's Sandra Richardson made two saves in earning her first shutout of the fall.

Sage returns to action on Wednesday, September 12 for their home opener when they entertain Ramapo College at 6 p.m. at Colonie Central High School at 6 p.m.
