A graduate of Cambridge Central High School, Sara Tironi was a three-sport stand-out in high school. She was a 2010 All-State Second Team honoree as well as a member of the Wasaren All-League First Team that same season in soccer. She also served as the basketball team captain for two seasons and garnered numerous awards for her excellence on the hardwood. She is also an all-state weighlifter.

She guided her 2009 soccer team to a regional finals appearances, while her 2019 basketball squad was a state semifinalist. As a member of the 2010-2011 basketball team, she helped the team to a Section II Finals berth.

Named the Valedictorian in high school, Sara is an elementary education and mathematics major at Sage. Her father Chris is a former national and world championship participant in wrestling and just missed a spot on the US Olympic Team. She is the daughter of of Chris and Kim Tironi.
