Haleigh Zeilman

At Sage:

• A starter in 15 of 16 games played in 2017, Haleigh Zeilman helped to anchor the Gator defense.
• She helped the team earn the program’s first post-season appearance after a record-setting season with four conference wins and seven overall victories.
• She picked up 16 ground ball scoops with eight caused turnovers with seven draws. . She was part of the Gator defense that averaged 10.50 caused turnovers per game and was ranked 63^rd in Division III in 2017.

Academics at Sage:

• She is a nursing major at Sage, she earned Dean’s List acclaim and a spot on the 2017 Skyline Conference Scholar-Athlete Team. This past fall, she was placed on the Empire 8 2017 Presidents’ List.

High School:

• She was a two-sport performer at nearby Colonie Central High School. She excelled in soccer and lacrosse. She earned four letters in lacrosse and a pair in soccer. Tapped as the lacrosse team captain as a senior, she earned the Cleary Award in lacrosse in 2015, one year after winning the Raider Award as a junior also in lacrosse.
• She was also honored by the NYSPHSAA as a four-year varsity performer and a four-time Scholar-Athlete recipient by the NYSPHSAA. 
• Zeilman excelled in the classroom as she was selected to the National Honor Society and earned an Advanced Regents Diploma and was the recipient of the Berkshire Bank Foundation Scholarship.

Personal:

• She is the daughter of Sean and Jacqueline Zeilman.
