Torri Sperl

At Sage:

• Torri Sperl joined Sage’s 2017 women’s lacrosse team after attending Elizabethtown College (2014-2015) and Houghton College (2015-2016).
• She was the team’s second leading scorer in 2017 with 40 points on 38 goals with two assists. She is the top returning scorer from last year’s team that set program records for most overall and conference wins.
• Sperl also helped the 2017 Gators make the program’s first post-season appearance and added 30 draws with six caused turnovers with five draws.
• She opens her second season already standing eighth in career points (40), while her 38 career goals is seventh on the Gator career record book.

Academics at Sage:

• She is majoring in health sciences with a path to physical therapy at Sage. She earned acclaim on the 2017 Skyline Conference Scholar-Athlete Team.

High School:

• She was a two-sport all-star in soccer and lacrosse at Saugerties High School. As a senior in high school, she earned All-MHAL First Team honors in soccer as a senior as well as a spot on the Section 9 Class A Coaches’ All-Star Team as a senior and helped the 2013 team to the MHAL championship title.

Personal:

• She is the daughter of Lance and Tiffany Sperl.
