Koralus honored as Skyline Player of the Week

New York, NY---Sage's senior tri-captain Monica Koralus (Verbank, NY/Millbrook) was honored as the Skyline Conference Women's Lacrosse Player of the Week.

The Skyline Conference's leading goal scorer put up 16 goals and two assists over the Gators' two conference victories, adding 14 draw controls and eight ground balls in the process. She registered eight goals and one assist in Sage's wins over Purchase and Maritime. She has 39 goals on her senior campaign and 4.33 per-game average which also sits atop the conference leaderboard.

This season, she has a team-best 45 points with her 39 goals and six assists. On her career, she has 194 points, 152 goals, 42 assists, 108 ground balls, 156 draw controls, and 47 games started, all Sage women's lacrosse program high-water marks she continues to build upon with her outing.

Koralus has 32 ground balls with 38 draws in nine starts this season. With the release of the latest NCAA Division III statistics, she is ranked in seven categories. She is 17th in both free position goals (1.22 per game) and goals per game averages (4.33), while ranking 44th nationally with her 5.0 points per game average.

The Gators will be in action on Tuesday, April 11 hosting Elms College in a non-conference contest at 5 p.m. at ACP's Athletic Complex.
