Monica Koralus named Skyline Women's Lacrosse Player of the Week

New York, NY---Sage's junior women's lacrosse player Monica Korlaus (Verbank, NY/Millbrook) was named the Skyline Conference Player of the Week following her outstanding play as the Gators went 2-1.

Koralus picked up 20 points (15 g, 5 a), 13 ground balls, 17 draw controls and five caused turnovers over the Gators' three contests. She added seven goals in the team's home win over Green Mountain College. Two days later, she poured in 10 points in the road win over Elms College as she added six goals with four assists.

She leads the team with 22 points on the year and is nationally ranked in scoring as she is 28th with her 5.5 points per game average. In addition, she is climbing the program's career record book as well!

She stands No. 2 all-time with 92 points, while ranking No. 2 now in goals (66) and No. 1 in career assists (26). 

Sage returns to action on March 23 travelling to MCLA for a 4 p.m. non-conference match.
