Koralus and Fudin lead Gators' offense, while St. Pierre excel in net as Gators triumph, 14-12

Riverdale, NY-- The Sage Colleges' women's lacrosse team traveled to the College of Mt. St. Vincent on Saturday for a Skyline Conference contest and collected a 14-12 win. Sage is now 2-10 overall and 2-4 in the league. CMSV falls to 1-10 overall and 0-6 in the game.

Sage's graduate student Shirah Fudin (Delmar, NY/Bethlehem Central) erupted for eight goals with two assists in the contest. Sophomore Monica Koralus (Verbank, NY/Millbrook) added four goals with four assists in the action to lead the Gators.

With her performance on Saturday, Koralus broke Sage's career assist mark as she handed out four assists and now has 21 career assists, bettering the mark set by Lindsay Millet (19).

The Gators' tandem is also climbing the career scoring list as well as Koralus is now No. 2 in career points with 66 on 45 goals with 21 assists. Fudin is No. 3 on the same list as she has 64 points on her 45 goals and six assists. Fudin is No. 2 in career goals with 57, while Koralus is No. 3 with 45.

Sage's sophomore Jackie St. Pierre (Averill Park, NY/Averill Park) made a personal-best 19 saves in earning the win for the Gators. St. Pierre becomes the program's all-time win leader with er win on goal on Saturday in her two seasons in goal for the Gators.

Sage returns to action on April 23 hosting SUNY-Old Westbury in 7:30 p.m. Skyline Conference contest at RPI's Renwyck Field. Sage will honor their senior performers in conjunction with Senior Night on Friday.
