Fudin adds 8 points but it's not enough as Gators fall to Ramapo

Albany, NY-- The Sage Colleges' women's lacrosse team hosted the Roadrunners of Ramapo College on Thursday night in a non-conference match. Ramapo tallied a 21-12 win to improve 5-6, while the Gators fall to 1-10.

Sage's graduate student Shirah Fudin (Delmar, NY/Bethlehem Central) tallied eight points on seven goals with an assist. She leads the Gators 37 goals with four assists for 41 points this season. On her career, she has 54 points and is No. 3 in total points and is No. 2 in career goals with 49.

Sophomore Monica Koralus (Verbank, NY/Millbrook) added six points as she added three goals and three assists in the action and added five draw controls in the contest. Koralus has 38 points this year as she has 26 goals with 12 assists and is also climbing the Gator career record book. Koralus now has 58 career points and in the program's No. 2 all-time leading point scorer (41g, 17a), while also standing No. 12 in career assists after moving past Alexa Pajak (2012-2013, 16 assists).

Ramapo's junior Lindsay Hughes (Milford, NJ/Delaware Valley) added five goals with an assist for the Roadrunners, while rookie Victoria Cunningham (Wayne, NJ/Wayne Hills) added four goals and assist.

Sage's sophomore Jackie St. Pierre (Averill Park, NY/Averill Park) made 16 saves in the contest, while Ramapo's rookie Jessica Meyers (Smithtown, NY/Smithtown West) had nine saves in goal in earning the win.

Sage returns to action on April 18 travelling to the College of Mt. St. Vincent for a noon Skyline Conference contest.
