A newcomer with the Gators in 2014, Shirah Fudin capped her first year with Sage earning IWLCA Scholar-Athlete Team honors. She played in five games with one start, and racked up 12 goals with one assist. She added 10 draw controls and was also placed on the 2014 Skyline Conference Scholar-Athlete Team and picked up one selection to the Skyline Conference Weekly Honor Roll for her play.

A graduate of Bethlehem Central High School, she was a four-year letterwinner in lacrosse and a three-year letterwinner in field hockey. She was a First-Team all-conference pick as a senior in lacrosse after also earning First Team Suburban Council honors in field hockey.

A graduate student at Sage, she has excelled in the classroom earning High Honors in both the Spring and Fall of 2014 semesters and graduated from Sage College of Albany with Magna Cum Laude honors. She was the recipient of the Helen Luffman Outstanding Physical Education Awards as an undergraduate at SCA.

Her sister Sarah was member of the women’s lacrosse team at Division I Lehigh University and graduated in 2010.
