New York, NY---The Sage Colleges women's lacrosse team had two players placed on the 2014 Skyline Conference Women's Lacrosse All-Star Team. Named to the First Team was sophomore Kimberlee Carr (Colonie, NY/Colonie Central), while sophomore defender Jena Jacot (Parishville, NY/Parishville-Hopkinton Central) was named to the Second Team.

With her selection to the First Team, Carr becomes the program's first player named to the Skyline Conference First Team. Carr was a two-time Skyline Conference Player of the Week this past season, while also earning a pair of selections to the weekly honor roll as well.

In the most recent NCAA Division III statistics rankings, Carr is ranked in five different categories. She leads the league with her 4.27 goals per game average, while ranking No. 14 in Division III. She is also ranked in points per game (4.45), goals (47), draw controls (3.55 per game), and caused turnovers (1.55). She played in 11 games for the Gators and led the team with 47 goals and 49 points. She also tallied 38 draw controls with 21 ground ball pickups and 18 caused turnovers.

Jacot finished her first season at Sage with two points on a goal and an assist, while racking up a team-best 19 caused turnovers and ranks nationally in the Top 200 players in the category. She started all 12 games for the Gators and added 14 ground ball pickups.

In the season finale, the Gators hosted the Mariners of Mitchell College and had a record-setting performance as the team broke the single-game scoring mark with 21 goals as they beat the Mariners, 21-9. The 21 goals betters the 19 goals the Gators have achieved on two previous occasions and helps Sage finish the year with a record of 4-8. The four wins also ties a program-mark for most wins a season set by last year's Gators.
