Another of Sage’s two sport student-athletes, Emily Stevenson returns to the lacrosse team after a successful fall campaign in women’s soccer. As a Sage women’s soccer newcomer in 2011, she played and started all 14 games while adding a goal and an assist. Her goal was the game-winner in Sage's win over NYU-Poly. She capped her senior season in soccer with 12 starts and five goals. She also tallied a hat trick in the Gators’ soccer win over Green Mountain College to cap the year. She served as women’s soccer team captain for the 2013 Gator soccer team and caps her soccer career with 19 points in 43 games played on eight goals and three assists.

In addition to her efforts on the soccer field, she also plays lacrosse for the Gators. In 2012, she started 12 of 13 games played. She also connected on three goals with 19 ground ball pickups and 11 draw controls. Last year, she was a 15 game starter with 14 points on 10 goals and four assists. She now ranks No. 7 on the Gator point list with 17 career points, while ranking No. 8 in career games played (28) and No. 4 in career games started (27). As a junior on the 2013 squad, she added 11 caused turnovers with 23 ground ball pickups and five draw controls.

A former four-sport student-athlete at Newfield High School, she starred in soccer, basketball, softball, and track. She served as a team captain for the soccer, basketball, and track teams, while earning first team all-conference honors in soccer as well as team MVP honors. She helped her 2008 track team to a divisional championship, while also earning a membership to the National Honor Society.

A Dean's List student at Sage, she is majoring in biology. She is active in the Biology Club as well as Spectrums. She is the daughter of David and Holly Stevenson. She is a representative on Sage’s SAAC and been very involved with the Gators’ community service efforts. She was named to the 2012 Skyline Conference Scholar-Athlete Team in soccer and the 2013 Skyline Conference Scholar-Athlete Team in lacrosse, while earning a pair of selections in 2012-2013 to Sage's Scholar-Athlete Team.
