Rexford, NY—Russell Sage College's women's golf team opened competition at the 2022 Northeast Women's Golf Championship on Saturday. The two-day championship is taking place at the Edison Club, a par 72 course with a distance of 5,688 yards.
RSC's senior Alexa Petrovic (Winslow,ME/Winslow) shot an opening round score of 99 to stand in a tie for 20th place as she had four pars for her first round.
Defending team champion SUNY-Cortland had four of the tournament's top five golfers after the first day as Paige Cerminaro shot a 79 on Saturday. The Red Dragons have a 328 through the first round in the team standings.
The championship wraps on Sunday with an 11:00 a.m. start time.
