Kaitlyn Bowman

At Sage:

  • As a rookie, she started all 27 games for Sage in 2015-2016 with a 6.7 ppg and 6.3 rpg average. She added 21 steals with 53 assists, while averaging 27.1 minutes per game as a freshman.
  • A 29-game starter for the Gators last year, she was instrumental in helping the team win the 2016-2017 Skyline Conference Championship and earn an NCAA Tournament bid.
  • She added 10.6 ppg with 6.4 rpg, while earning one Skyline Player of the Week citation as well as an Honor Roll posting.
  • Bowman added 32 steals with 56 assists as a sophomore with 306 points.
  • As a junior on the Sage team in 2017-2018, she helped the Gators to a spot in their first Empire 8 post-season tournament.
  • Bowman was a 23-game starter and added 8.4 ppg on 219 points with 223 rebounds. She averaged 8.6 rpg and handed out 71 assists with 28 steals.
  • Her personal-bests include 26 points against SUNY-Old Westbury (12/3/16) and 18 rebounds against Alfred (1/19/18).
  • After a year away from the program, Bowman returns for her final campaign having already left her mark on the team’s career record book.
  • She has 705 career points and is ranked 17th. Her 578 career rebounds stands sixth, while her 17 career blocks is 24th. With 82 career games, played she is 17th, while her 153 career free throws made is 11th best. She owns a 45.4% career field goal percentage as well at Sage.

Academics at Sage:

  • Bowman is a Dean’s List student and has earned Empire 8 Presidents’ List citations, twice as well as two selections to the Skyline Conference Scholar-Athlete Team as a freshman.
  • She has been accepted into Sage’s accelerated OT, Master’s program in occupational therapy and graduated with her undergraduate degree in 2018.

High School:

  • She was a team captain and first-team all-star at Saranac High School, leading her team to the sectional championship title as well as a spot in the Final Four.

  • She is the younger sister of Sage’s record-setting women’s basketball guard, Megan Bowman and is the daughter of Brad and Kris Bowman.
