New York, NY –The Sage College's women's basketball team had two players honored this week with the release of the Skyline Conference Players of the Week. Freshman guard Genevieve Schoff (Little Falls, NY/Little) was selected as the Rookie of the Week, while senior guard Megan Bowman (Dannemora, NY/Saranac) earned her second selection to the Skyline Conference Weekly Honor Roll.

Schoff averaged 8.0 points and 3.5 rebounds while knocking down 7-of-13 shots from the field in a 1-1 week for the Gators. She scored 10 points in a 78-46 win over Southern Vermont on November 30 and added six points and seven boards as Sage fell to RPI on November 25, 76-62. She also added three steals on the week. She has a 5.8 ppg average and a 3.5 rpg average in five starts for the Gators.

Bowman averaged 12.0 points and 7.5 assists over two contests and her 350 career assists ranks second in program annals.  She is making her steady climb in the Gator record book and now has 780 career points. She moved ahead of Kelly Murphy (772, 1999-2002) on Sunday in scoring and also has 350 assists and 199 steals. She moved into sole possession of the No. 4 spot in career steals surpassing Wendy Kuhn (198, 1988-1992).

The Gators return to action on December 2 hosting Cazenovia College in a 7 p.m. match-up in Kahl Gym.
