ALBANY, N.Y. – Russell Sage College pitcher/infielder Taylor Dicranian (Bennington, VT/Mt. Anthony Union), a graduate student, was named the Empire 8 Conference Softball Player of the Week for the period ending Sunday, March 12.
Dicranian slashed .583/.917/.643 last week. The grad student recorded a pair of three-hit performances, including when she went 3-for-4 with three RBI, and two runs scored in Tuesday's win vs. Penn State - Behrend. She totaled four runs scored, four RBI, two doubles and a triple across the four games.
Looking ahead, the Gators (5-5) are scheduled to play a doubleheader on Saturday at RPI.
Save the Date: The 18th Annual Gator Golf Classic will be held on Friday, June 2 at Colonie Golf and Country Club.
