Albany, NY — Russell Sage College Softball will host two clinics in January 2023.
The Youth Clinic (Ages 6-13) is on January 21 and the Prospect Clinic (HS Grad Years 2023-2027) is set for January 28.

Russell Sage Youth Softball Clinic is open to girls, ages 6-13. This clinic will provide individualized instruction, with an emphasis on improving each player's skill level. We feel that with our staff, players will improve their skill level and enjoy themselves while doing it! The drills will be compatible with their age and skill level. The clinic will include your choice of hitting and/or fielding, and pitching.
The clinic will take place in our indoor turf facility, The Armory (130 New Scotland Ave., Albany, NY 12208). Each player must bring their own bat, glove, helmet, water, and sneakers/turf shoes!
Schedule
1:15 p.m. - Registration in Armory Lobby
1:30 p.m. – 2:45 p.m. – Fielding
2:45 p.m.- 4:00 p.m. Hitting
4:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. – Pitching (required to bring their own catcher and 11 inch ball if necessary)
Cost
Open to the first 50 players.

PROSPECT CLINIC: Jan. 28 - Register Here
Russell Sage Softball Prospect Clinic is open to high school students in classes 2023-2027. This clinic will cover throwing mechanics, defensive fundamentals, positional work for multiple positions, hitting mechanics, base-running, and significant full field game play. All participants will be exposed to college level training. Participants will interact with college coaches and "Talk College" with current Sage softball student-athletes. The high-level training will allow the prospect to work on all aspects of the game and leave a better player!
The camp will take place in our indoor turf facility, The Armory (130 New Scotland Ave., Albany, NY 12208). Each player must bring their own bat, glove, helmet, water, and sneakers/turf shoes! No cleats!
*We will also be going on a tour of the campus, so bring appropriate footwear and outerwear.*
