Albany, NY – The National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) All-America Scholar-Athletes, has saluted five Russell Sage College softball players for their academic prowess in 2021-2022. The Gators, which earned their second consecutive Empire 8 Tournament appearance in 2022, once again had a number of players that had a 3.5 or high cumulative grade point average for the academic year.

Earning acclaim from RSC was graduate student and infielder Emily Agate (Franklin Square, NY/H. Frank Carey), rookie infielder Emma Anderson (Tolland, CT/Tolland), rookie infielder Alanna Dumas (North Bangor, NY/Franklin Academy), senior outfielder Kaitlynn Keeley (Waterbury, CT/Sacred Heart) and sophomore infielder Alyson Murphy (Gill, MA/Turners Falls).

The honor for Agate is a repeat selection having earned the award last season as well.
