ALBANY, N.Y. – Russell Sage College senior outfielder Arianna Papas (Castleton, NY/Maple Hill) was named the Empire 8 Conference Softball Player of the Week for the period ending Sunday, April 17.

She slashed .556/1.000/.609 across six games last week.  Papas, who recorded seven runs scored, six RBI, and five doubles, went 3-for-3 with a two-run homer in Friday's 2-1 E8 win at Utica

The Gators (9-15/2-3 E8) are scheduled to play next on Saturday at Nazareth. The E8 doubleheader is set to begin at 1:00 pm.
