ALBANY, N.Y. – Russell Sage College infielder Emily Agate (Franklin Square, NY/H. Frank Carey), a grad student, was named the Empire 8 Conference Player of the Week for the period ending Sunday, April 3.

She batted .875 (7-for-8) with seven RBI and two runs scored in Saturday's doubleheader vs. Houghton. The infielder doubled, homered and stole a base as the teams split the E8 twin-bill.

The Gators (4-11/1-1 E8) are scheduled to play next on Wednesday at SUNY Cobleskill. The non-conference DH is set for a 3:00 PM start.
