Muskies Swim Past Gators 6-0

Rice

CLERMONT, Fla. – Russell Sage College dropped this afternoon's contest at THE Spring Games to Lakeland by a score of 6-0.

Junior shortstop Katelyn Rice (Albany, NY/Colonie Central) tripled to highlight the RSC offense.

Junior infielder Juliana Hall accounted for half of the Lakeland (1-0) runs with a three-run homer in the third.  The support was more than enough for sophomore right-hander Skylar Hall. She struck out six Gators in her one-hitter.

RSC (1-4) plays next on Tuesday vs. Saint Joseph's (Maine) at 10:15 am.

Notes: The Gators have 12 returnees to this year's roster…Senior left hander/infielder Taylor Dicranian (Bennington, VT/Mt. Anthony Union) and senior outfielder Arianna Papas (Castleton, NY/Maple Hill) headline the dozen…The duo each earned All-Region honors from the NFCA last spring…Head Coach Erica Li, now in her fourth season, added seven newcomers to the squad.
