Albany, NY-The Sage Colleges' Softball team will be offering a pair of clinics that will help players get ready for the upcoming 2020 season. The clinics will be held in the Armory at Sage.
February 2, 2020 - YOUTH CLINIC

The clinic will take place in our indoor turf facility, The Armory (130 New Scotland Ave., Albany, NY 12208). Each player must bring their own bat, glove, helmet, water, and sneakers/turf shoes! We will be breaking for lunch, so each player is responsible for a lunch.
Schedule
9:45 a.m. - Registration in Armory Lobby
10:00 a.m. – 11:15 a.m. – Fielding
11:15 a.m.-11:45 a.m. – Break for lunch (Not provided)
11:45 a.m.- 1:00 p.m. Hitting
1:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m. – Pitching (required to bring their own catcher and 11 inch ball if necessary)

Open to the first 50 players.

February 16, 2020 (PROSPECT CLINIC)

The Sage Colleges' Softball Prospect Clinic is open to high school students in classes 2020-2025. This clinic will cover throwing mechanics, defensive fundamentals, positional work for multiple positions, hitting mechanics, base-running, and significant full field game play. All participants will be exposed to college level training. Participants will interact with college coaches and "Talk College" with current Sage softball student-athletes. The high-level training will allow the prospect to work on all aspects of the game and leave a better player!
The camp will take place in our indoor turf facility, The Armory (130 New Scotland Ave., Albany, NY 12208). Each player must bring their own bat, glove, helmet, water, and sneakers/turf shoes! No cleats!
We will also be going on a tour of the campus, so bring appropriate footwear and outerwear.
