Dunn Name Skyline Player of the Week for the Second Time

NEW YORK – Senior Morgan Dunn (Cohoes, NY/Cohoes) was named the week seven Skyline Softball Player of the Week.

Over the course of eight games, Dunn batted .607 with 17 hits, 15 runs, 15 RBI's, four doubles and three home runs. While on the road at SUNY-Polytechnic, the third baseman broke the Sage single-season doubles record. Dunn currently has a Skyline best 19 doubles and counting. The senior also tops the Skyline in total bases (109), hits (61), RBI's (50) and home runs (nine).

This is Dunn's second Skyline Player of the Week honor this season. Back in week two, Dunn had a monster weekend with a .733 average (11-15), 13 RBI's, 10 runs, four homeruns, four doubles, two walks and a stolen base.

The Gators have completed one of the best regular seasons in program history with a 25-13 overall record. With a 14-4 conference record, Sage has locked the number two seed along with a first round bye. The Gators will play the winner of Purchase and Mount Saint Vincent Fri., Apr. 29 at 3 p.m. at Mount Saint Mary in the double-elimination tournament.
