New York, NY---The Sage Colleges' freshman Kristen Beikirch (Brockport, NY/Brockport) was named the Skyline Conference Rookie of the Week on Monday for her outstanding play last week for the Gators. She batted a cool .435 last week, while adding 10 hits and was a perfect 3-3 on stolen base attempts.

Joining Beikirch on the weekly honors list was sophomore infielder Hillary Faas (East Greenbush, NY/Columbia) as she was named to the Honor Roll. She batted .357 last week with five runs scored and six RBI's.

The Gators are 4-4 on the year and will host Cazenovia College on March 17 in a noon DH at Robison Field in Troy in the team's home opener.
