Ahearn, Jones, And Pasquarelli Named To Skyline Conference Second Team

Lawrenceville, NJ - Skyline Conference commissioner Tracy King released the All-Skyline Conference Softball teams Monday afternoon. 

Sage placed three athletes on the second team; Jen Ahearn (2B; Cohoes, NY), Kellie Jones (SS; Troy, NY), and Maria Pasquarelli (C; Amsterdam, NY).  Jones led Sage at the plate batting .410 on the season, with a slugging percentage of .695.  She hit four homeruns, fourteen doubles, and had 23 RBI's.    Jones was also aggressive on the base paths stealing twelve bases in thirteen attempts.  Ahearn was also a threat offensively for the Gators, batting .333 on the season.  She tallied 31 hits, four of which were homeruns, and batted in 21 runs.  Ahearn was very effective once she got on base, total eleven stolen bases on eleven attempts.  Pasquarelliadded 28 hits, including six triples and two homeruns.  She recorded 13 RBI's for the season. 

Jones also received an honorable mention  for the 2009 Atlantic Region Team.  She is the lone member of the Skyline Conference to be recognized.
